Gary is our Hazmat Removalist in Narangba, Brisbane. He started working with a small company removing asbestos phone cable pits in and around Brisbane and has spent 10 years working in various hazardous industries since, including flood remediation.
He has most recently been working in live gas plants as an industrial painter. After working away from home Gary wanted to start his own small business. A Jim’s Hazmat franchise offered him all the solutions, providing him with a solid support network and an opportunity for business growth.
In his spare time Gary loves getting away with family and friends camping and fishing. He is also a keen motor sport enthusiast.
A little known fact about Gary is that back in his younger years, he was the Under 19 Australian Champion Powerlifter.

With more than 10 years involved in construction industry including Hazardous Material Removal work in the past. In 2019 my business partner, Viseth Hou and I decided to come back to this sort of job in order to change our life style. Instead of being as a fly in fly out Lng gas plan mining worker, we agreed to start our asbestos Removal business and owner a franchise from Jim’s (Jim’s Hazardous Material Removal Corinda)
The only 2 main reason that we came to Jim’s are:
1, Jim’s is the only out there who takes the smallest % from franchisees, but with big support.
2, We want to balance our families lifestyle and doing things that we like, even though we don’t earn as much as from fly in fly out job.

Throughout the years have many hobbies that keep me busy during my free time, but the hobby that I like the most at the moment is gardening, renovation and treadmill. I just like to make my brain and body work a bit harder than when I was working in the mine doing same thing all the time.

Since we started our franchisees as Jim’s Hazmat Removal, we have noticed that our life style has changed a lot. Change for the better. The business seems to be growing every single month as we got more leads from many different sources. And we hope it would grow to the point where we have planned for.
