Preparation is critical to a smooth and safe process. We will identify elements such as access to your property, if power and water is available, etc.
Your Jim’s Asbestos Testing team are fully trained and understand the importance of getting a rapid result, to enable work to continue on schedule if possible; or for the absestos to be safely removed or sealed; depending on the location and available options, budgets and timeframes.
Our Asbestos Testing team are equipped with the right safety gear and professional tools to do the job thoroughly and safely.
If we do find Asbestos present, it is sometimes an option for safety and economy, to some asbestos to be left in place, and instead conduct an asbestos encapsulation service. Our team will advise you beforehand if at all possible, however often it is not until the asbestos removal work has commenced that we can find the full extent of asbestos materials used in construction, with further testing often required.
Our Jim’s Licensed Asbestos Testing & Removal Team will always dispose of asbestos materials safely, as per Environment Protection Authority (EPA) guidelines.
We do not recommend that you attempt DIY Asbestos testing, unless you are fully compliant with the Safe Work Australia Asbestos Guidelines. Rest assured our NSW team are fully licensed and trained, and also fully insured. Do not risk the health of your loved ones, friends, family, neighbours or co-workers by using unlicensed providers.
After Asbestos has been thoroughly removed or encapsulated we recommend the following elements be addressed: (a) Asbestos Clearance Certificate; (b) Air monitoring; (c) Asbestos Register & Management.
Jim’s Asbestos Removals is here to help. Call 7am – 8pm on 131 546 or request online an Asbestos Testing Quote with our fully licensed, insured and police-checked team.
